History
Susan Peters joined ASA in 2004 and became a partner in 2018. She started out in the collateral management desk understanding and participating in the settlement and clearing operations. She has been very active in the repo market and automated the financing of ASA’s positions as required. Ms Peters has also worked with Treasury and Futures traders automating and integrating with Brokertec and other treasury platforms. She has also successfully implemented different algorithmic trading strategies for the municipal market working alongside the other principals at ASA. She enjoys the challenges that everyday brings and uses her programming skills to creatively solve and streamline operations.
Education
Ms Peters attended the University of Minnesota where she graduated Summa cum Laude in her class from the Department of Computer Science in 2004 and went on to complete a Masters of Financial Math at the University of Minnesota in 2013.
Hobbies
Ms Peters loves spending time with her husband and 5 kids. She spends most of her time engaging her children with different fun activities. She is active in her local church and cherishes growing together in small groups. She enjoys cooking for friends and family, hiking and exploring places with family.
